Aloe Vera Barbadensis (listed by its Latin name of Aloe barbadenis on our labels) is the featured ingredient in every ALODERMA product we make.

Since we own our certified organic plantations and process at the source, we are able to guarantee that we deliver the highest quality ingredient that is featured in every one of our products.  While aloe vera is a very common ingredient in skin care, it is typically well down the ingredient list and/or contains extract. Since we utilize a proprietary process that doesn't cook, freeze, or concentrate our aloe and also removes aloin (a carcinogen that is contained in the outer rind of aloe vera's leaves) without the use of chemicals, charcoal filtration, or added enzymes, we are able to guarantee we feature the highest quality organic aloe vera in our products.

Aloe Vera is known for its cooling, soothing, antioxidant qualities, and acts as a humectant (hydrating) agent for skin due to its polysaccharide and sterol properties.
