ALODERMA
Sorbitol is a sugar alcohol found in ripe berries, seaweed and algae that is used as a humectant (water-binding) ingredient to hydrate and moisturize the skin. It also functions as a thickener, improving the texture of formulations. As a prebiotic ingredient, Sorbitol also helps feed the natural occurring bacteria on the skin.
